Captain's Note not in the past month
2009 Southside Bombers Softball is almost over. Thanks to all who contributed this season! There will be an end of the season bash, not sure when or where yet, but Dave and Ken are gonna rock us out, and yal are welcome to bring your significant other, or a friend. Update on that to come. We have a few more games in the Tuesday Des Moines League. Also a few of you are with me in the Saturday Des Moines league, for those of you who are, I will be keeping in contact about games via text and cell. All remaining tournaments have been cancelled due to lack of interest. Thanks for playing with us this year, keep in touch for next season, it'll start before ya know it! Description
Mens, rec level, softball team looking for a few good players. We have one or two spots available in Kent Russell Rd. league on thursdays beginning late July (Cost $80). There will also 4 or 5 spots on the tuesday roster, that will be playing Des Moines fields. (So if you have a friend, this ones for you!) The cost for that league is $70. Some players play on both teams, and some only one. Renton league will not be played for fall season. If you are Renton only, we will be back next season for spring play. Tournaments will continue on weekends. Please let me know what you would like to do for the summer/fall with us. We will obviously be looking for more players as well as the team will be expanding to two nights.
